The Requirements To Fill This Position Are As Below
* To adhere to all safety requirements incl. safety checks of tools and equipment
* To create precision-engineered parts from blank metal or plastic/composite materials using a variety of techniques including:
o Prepare and use horizontal and vertical boring machines; (desirable)
o Prepare and use lathes for turning operation
o Prepare and use milling machines
o Prepare and use grinding machines
o Ensure products are manufactured to tolerances required on technical drawings
o Apply screw-cutting techniques
o Interpret drawings
o Produce jobs within allocated timescales.
* Actively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities
* Must have NVQ3 in Machining, ONC Engineering or equivalent.
* Highly experienced in use of Horizontal/Vertical Borers/Centre Lathes
