The Landscapes Recovery Manager will lead the Trust’s Landscapes Recovery team within the Nature Recovery Directorate, reporting to the Director of Nature Recovery. The role involves managing land management advisory work to support landowners and landholders, developing new funding mechanisms, and facilitating delivery of nature recovery schemes at scale across Hertfordshire & Middlesex. The postholder will work closely with the Rivers Recovery Manager, external partners, and the Trust’s Nature Reserves Manager to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to nature recovery.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Landscapes Recovery team.
* Develop and deliver land management advisory services to support landowners and landholders.
* Collaborate with the Rivers Recovery Manager and external partners to create new funding mechanisms.
* Facilitate delivery of nature recovery schemes across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.
* Coordinate with the Trust’s Nature Reserves Manager to align recovery work on reserves and in broader landscapes.
* Ensure strategic, scalable, and effective nature recovery outcomes.
Qualifications
* Extensive land advice and ecological experience.
* Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to develop innovative solutions.
* Strong drive, knowledge, and experience in conservation and land management.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership skills.
* Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
