Are you an ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor seeking an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading construction consultancy? Our client, a renowned name in the construction industry, is currently looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team in Nottingham.
Responsibilities:
Undertake both pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties, including cost planning, cost control, valuation, feasibility studies, and risk management.
Collaborate closely with clients and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Conduct detailed analysis of construction drawings and specifications to assess cost implications.
Manage contracts, including reviewing and negotiating contractual agreements and resolving disputes.
Provide accurate and timely reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Possess a recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
MRICS qualified
Proven experience in a consultancy role with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant legislation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
A strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a team player.
On offer for the Chartered Quantity Surveyor:
Salary £45,000 - £55,000
