A designer and manufacturer of complex electromechanical safety-critical products for industrial & environmental applications. They design & manufacture detection, and monitoring equipment products as both a fixed and portable system. They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the Coventry, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster & Bromsgrove area.
Role Overview
Seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team nationwide. This regional role covers Coventry, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, and Bromsgrove, reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager.
The main duties include attending customer sites to perform proactive maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of their products.
Responsibilities
* Servicing, calibrating, and repairing detection equipment to relevant standards
* Ensuring all serviced products are fully operational, tested, and have completed service paperwork
* Supporting other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers
Requirements
* Experience in instrument/electronic equipment service, troubleshooting/repair, commissioning, and/or installation
* HNC/HND in an electrical/electronic field or equivalent experience
* Full driving license
* Prior Field Service Engineering experience
Desirable
* Experience with fire alarm systems or similar electronic devices
* Certifications such as Confined Space, IPAF, and Safety Passport (training provided)
