Application Architect - Workforce Applications
Anaplan is solving major workforce planning challenges with innovative, out-of-the-box applications that enable real-time insights and smarter decisions. As an Application Architect within the Workforce Center of Excellence, you will design and build applications on the Anaplan platform for various planning and reporting use cases across industries.
You will collaborate with Product Management, Model Builders, and cross-functional teams to determine requirements, create application architecture, and ensure platform dependencies are met. Your role requires excellent collaboration skills, deep understanding of workforce planning, HR systems, and Anaplan platform expertise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and deliver Workforce Applications leveraging Anaplan components.
2. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure best practices.
3. Design applications and UX to meet standards, ensuring usability and performance.
4. Participate in quality assurance, upgrades, and incorporate platform innovations.
5. Collaborate with teams to deliver training, documentation, and ongoing improvements.
6. Support sales and customer success teams with expertise and escalations.
Qualifications
1. 5+ years of experience as an Anaplan Model Builder, with at least Level 3 Certification; Master Anaplanner preferred.
2. Strong engineering discipline ensuring scalable, configurable applications.
3. Experience with broader Anaplan facets (PlanIQ, Optimizer, Workflow, etc.) is a plus.
4. Knowledge of workforce planning, HR systems, and product management.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; advanced degree preferred.
