Rate of pay £12.21 per hour
Hours 9 hours per week, term time only.
We require 3 x 3 hour cleans per week on days to suit (but not consecutive) The cleans need to be completed when sessions aren't running and the successful candidate will be required to sign a key holder policy.
The times when the cleans can be completed:
Monday before 9am or after 8.30pm
Tuesday before 9am or after 8.30pm
Wednesday before 11am or after 8.30pm
Thursday before 3.30pm or after 7.30pm
Friday before 10am or after 7.45pm
Saturday before 8.30am or after 5pm
Sunday before 9am or after 3pm
Hours will be mutually agreed with the successful candidate to suit their availability and the needs of the business.
Role details:
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the gymnastics facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Duties include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floors within the building, including changing rooms, and corridors. Regular cleaning and sanitising of all toilets and washroom facilities; wiping down and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as door handles. Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of appropriately.
The role also requires regular restocking of supplies in toilets and letting management know when cleaning supplies are running low, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns, and following the facility's health and safety guidelines at all times

Good Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with management, including reporting supply shortages or maintenance concerns promptly.·
Physical Fitness: Capable of carrying out manual cleaning tasks, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and handling cleaning equipment safely.·
Awareness of Health & Safety: Understands and follows health and safety guidelines, with a proactive attitude to maintaining a safe environment for all facility users.·
Previous Cleaning Experience (Desirable): Experience in a similar cleaning or maintenance role is advantageous but not essential.·
