About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Area Cleaning Manager to join our team! As an Area Manager, you will be field-based, traveling between site locations in and around the North East of England. A company vehicle and mobile phone will be provided, along with all necessary cleaning equipment to carry out your duties.
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Attend sites to resolve cleaning issues and ensure standards are met.
2. Clean all areas of clients' sites, including hoovering floors, and cleaning and sanitising surfaces.
3. Ensure that cleaning standards are delivered according to specifications.
4. Follow health & safety legislation at all times.
5. Respond to ad hoc requests from the Management Team.
6. Escalate concerns or site-level intelligence to the Area Manager.
7. Complete stock checks and follow the process for ordering supplies.
8. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, Regional Managers, and other Area Managers.
9. Support training and inductions for new cleaners.
Qualifications And Skills
1. Experience in a similar role.
2. Proactive, detail-oriented, methodical, and organised.
3. Self-motivated, confident, approachable, with a flexible attitude.
4. Strong client focus with a proven track record in facilities management or contract cleaning.
5. Team player capable of motivating others.
