If you are looking for an exciting opportunity where you can earn money as well as gaining experience and a recognised qualification, then look no further A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic apprentice to join East Suffolk Council as an Administration Apprentice (Health and Safety). Your role Your role will be to carry out a range of administrative, technical and support functions to support the Health and Safety team, with the aim of helping to protect public health and safety and improving the health and wellbeing of East Suffolk employees and the community. As part of your role you will maintain computer records, assist with creating and updating documentation (i.e. policies and leaflets), arrange meetings and distribute agendas and minutes. You will also be involved in supporting with the organisation of training events and promotional activity and providing support to the wider Food and Safety Team on projects and ahead of events such as Latitude Festival. What you will need You will need to have good written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT skills and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 -9 (or equivalent). You will be keen to learn and have the ability to identify and record accurately key facts arising from conversations. No previous administrative experience is required, as full training will be provided.
