Manufacturing Engineer – Salary £35,000 – £45,000; 4‑day week (Monday – Thursday 8:00–17:15) – Permanent full‑time (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
* Define, develop and improve manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, delivery and safety targets.
* Support production through robust process definition, tooling solutions and technical documentation.
* Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across machining and assembly areas.
* Provide manufacturing input to NPI, DFM activities, capacity planning and productivity improvements.
* Ensure all processes comply with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety legislation.
Qualifications
* Degree‑qualified or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production or similar.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, jigs & fixtures and production equipment.
* Ideally, experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement activities.
* Confident interpreting engineering drawings and working cross‑functionally with design, production and quality teams.
