Are you interested in taking on a key role in delivering first aid training and specialised courses, teaching essential life-saving skills? The role: First Aid Trainer in Preston, Lancashire, delivering first aid courses and supporting learners with a customer-focused approach using diverse techniques to accommodate all learning styles, with comprehensive training and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
* Conduct first aid training and specialist courses, equipping people with essential life-saving skills.
* Teach the appropriate actions to take in different scenarios (e.g., when someone is unresponsive or has suffered burns).
* Support learners in building confidence to provide potentially lifesaving support in an emergency.
* Travel to training venues throughout Lancashire.
Requirements
* Natural communicator with a confident, engaging presence, comfortable speaking in front of groups.
* Strong listening, problem-solving, debating, and constructive feedback skills.
* Training or Teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
* Comfortable working independently and travelling to various locations using your own vehicle (travel time reimbursed).
* Experience in preparing and delivering a range of training courses with the ability to present to mixed-ability groups.
Location and Work Arrangements
Location: Preston, Lancashire (candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius).
Hours: 35 per week excluding travel (Mon-Sat, 9-5, occasional evenings).
Contract: Permanent.
Driving: Full UK driving licence and vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
