- Cover Supervisor
GSL are recruiting for a cover supervisor to support in a catholic school in Rochdale OL12. The school is graded Outstanding by Ofsted and are looking for a cover supervisor to start ASAP.
Job Role for the Cover Supervisor in Rochdale, OL12
- You will be responsible for teaching Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 pupils
- Helping pupils with a wide range of needs in the classroom
- Keeping pupils motivated to stay on task with any preset exercises that the teacher has set
- Providing any material or tools students need
- Showing pupils the right steps to complete a task
- Working across different curriculum areas including different subject areas
- Reporting back to the teacher for the work they are covering for
Requirements for the Cover Supervisor in Rochdale, OL12
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a secondary school
- Previous experience working with pupils with similar ages
- Any relevant qualifications – Level 2/3 in education or support in schools, Degree, Maters etc.
