We are looking for a Quality Technical Assistant to provide support to the Quality Department by testing and checking materials and products to ensure they meet required standards. The role includes recording results, reporting trends, maintaining tooling systems, assisting with repairs, and supporting internal audits to improve quality and reduce waste.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Test, analyze, and check materials and products at all stages of production.
* Record results accurately and inform the Quality Co‑ordinator of any trends or issues.
* Approve and release materials according to quality procedures.
* Process laboratory requests and issue inspection reports and product certificates.
* Maintain the tooling management system, including inspections, reports, and records.
* Manage new tools and molds, organize tooling transfers, and keep tooling lists up to date.
* Coordinate internal and external tool repairs and monitor costs.
* Support the engineering team with priority lists for tool repairs.
* Carry out internal quality audits to improve processes, reduce waste, and prevent defects.
* Support overall quality management processes as directed by the Quality Co‑ordinator or Quality Manager.

* No supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
* 0–1 years of experience.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good organisational and time‑management skills.
* Experience working in a quality or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Confident using computers and software systems for data recording and analysis.
