We have opportunities in a number of areas across all three The Trust and would particularly welcome applications from individuals with an interest or previous experience in the Emergency Department, Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care.

Main duties of the job
You will provide a high standard of individualised and compassionate nursing care in accordance with agreed policies, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for individual patients.
You will:
Provide direct patient care, such as administering medications, conducting assessments, and providing support and education to patients and their families.
Monitor patients’ health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff or doctors.
Participate in clinical audits and other quality improvement initiatives to help ensure that care is delivered in accordance with best practices and national guidelines.
Provide support and guidance to junior staff, such as student nurses or health care assistants
Manage a caseload of patients, including coordinating care with other members of the health care team and ensuring that patients’ needs are met in a timely and appropriate manner.

You will work a range of shifts, covering the needs of the ward across a 24 hour period, to include night duty.
