What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines: getting ready for school, meal times, and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment through light housekeeping.
* Lead shift and deputise home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join fun activities such as trips to the park, movie nights, or creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
Hay Park is a registered residential home accommodating up to two young people aged 8–18 with emotional or behavioural difficulties. The home is part of Cambian Group and is committed to providing child‑centred care. Staff receive specific training to meet the needs of each resident, and care plans are adapted over time in line with local authority plans.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager – focused on achieving outcomes for others.
* Driver with a full UK driving licence.
* NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* At least two years working experience in a residential setting.
