Join our clients dynamic Bioperformance team as a Research Scientist and contribute to groundbreaking research that supports global food security.
In this pivotal role, you will investigate the ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Elimination) characteristics of active ingredients within plants, insects, and fungi—advancing cutting-edge crop protection science that helps farmers optimize yields and sustainability worldwide.
As part of an innovative Bioscience function, you will independently design, execute, and analyze experiments using a combination of laboratory and glasshouse assays alongside advanced analytical techniques such as LC-MS. Your work will generate high-quality data to deepen understanding of how active ingredients perform biologically, supporting the development of novel agrochemical solutions.
Required Skills
Proven ability to plan, perform, and interpret laboratory experiments focused on bioavailability and ADME in biological systems
At least two years’ practical experience in laboratory research, preferably within plant science, biochemistry, or related biological fields
Strong scientific writing proficiency and effective verbal communication skills in English
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to deliver results within project timelines
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standardsNice to Have Skills
Experience in pharmacology, agronomy, crop protection, or analytical chemistry
Familiarity with handling and analyzing large data sets, including data storage and visualization tools
Previous experience with LC-MS analysis and small molecule studies
Hands-on experience working with plants, soil, or seeds
Knowledge of ADME principles in agrochemical contextsPreferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related fields is required; Master’s degree preferred
Laboratory research experience in academic or professional settings, ideally involving plant or insect biology
