The Role

Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, you’ll have a strategic overview of workforce planning, capacity planning and resource budgeting. You’ll carry out activities that include resource allocation and headcount modelling using data‑driven decision‑making and taking into account continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

* Take responsibility for Strategic Workforce Planning, collaborating with business leaders and aligning workforce planning to long‑term goals.
* Analyse workforce trends, including attrition rates, skills gaps and growth projections, developing plans that address business needs.
* Assess current and future resource requirements, optimising resource allocation to meet service levels.
* Collaborate with finance and HR teams to create resource budgets, tracking annual spend against budget.
* Develop headcount modelling to forecast staffing needs, with consideration to seasonality, project lifecycles and business growth.
* Develop analysis of current provision and performance, preparing reports and recommendations for stakeholders.


Qualifications

* Qualified in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to make balanced decisions.
* Solutions‑focused, able to use initiative to manage issues, drive outcomes and suggest process improvements while maintaining commercial awareness.
* Change‑management expertise to drive improvements.
