Role Overview
As a Configuration Engineer you will ensure compliance with safety cases and contribute to the safe and effective operation of nuclear facilities, supporting the governance of activities within the Plant Management Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate Facility Procedure Authorisation Group meetings, documentation, and configuration.
* Supervise configuration and due process activities for the Radioactive Waste Management Plant Management Group.
* Administer configuration tools to support governance activities.
* Champion accurate record retention to ensure safe work and compliance.
* Provide advice on due process and reviews to maintain regulatory standards.
Essential Experience
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
* Ability to work independently with a flexible attitude.
* Experience in a high‑hazard or highly regulated industry (advantageous).
Qualifications
* ONC (or equivalent) essential.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who can achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) / Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) clearance for this role.
