Service Manager Learning Disability
Rochdale, Greater Manchester
£31,500 per annum
Full-time, permanent position
TRC is working with a reputable private provider of specialist care in the North of England, with over 20 years of experience. They are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead their team.
The company values outstanding care delivery and client satisfaction, maintaining growth despite sector challenges.
Responsibilities:
* Lead daily operations in the absence of the Registered/Deputy Care Manager.
* Support CQC registration and inspections.
* Manage and support the care team through supervision, appraisals, and training.
* Conduct assessments and develop person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
* Create and manage rotas based on service user needs and staff availability.
* Ensure timely reviews and plan updates.
* Assist with recruitment, inductions, team meetings, and development.
* Promote safeguarding and health & safety standards.
* Build relationships with families, carers, funders, and external agencies.
* Monitor and improve quality of care.
* Participate in external events and develop local partnerships.
Criteria:
* Proven management experience in the care sector.
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and risk management.
Desirable:
* Experience in service development and partnership working.
* Familiarity with CQC standards and inspections.
