Senior Project Manager – Water Infrastructure (MEICA / Civils)

A leading Tier 1 contractor is strengthening its delivery team across the Southeast Water framework and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong MEICA and civil engineering exposure.
This is a senior role working across clean and wastewater infrastructure, offering long-term programme security, complex projects, and clear progression within a stable framework environment.
The Role
You will take full ownership of one large project or a portfolio of smaller schemes, leading delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. The role combines technical understanding, commercial awareness, and strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:

Overall responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and safety performance
*
Leading MEICA and civils interfaces across design, construction and commissioning
*
Managing project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
*
Overseeing RAMS, temporary works and statutory compliance
*
Working closely with commissioning teams to ensure successful asset integration
*
Client-facing responsibility, including reporting, progress reviews and issue resolution
*
Supporting planning, sequencing and risk management across live projects
*
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to regulatory standards
About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in water infrastructure, ideally having worked within a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 contractor environment.
We are open to candidates with either MEICA or civils bias, provided you have strong experience managing multidisciplinary delivery.

Strong understanding of MEICA and civils interfaces

Confident leading teams, contractors and client stakeholders
*
Commercial and programme awareness
*
SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH preferred
*
Strong Microsoft Office capability
*
Full UK driving licence
