Deputy Manager - Residential Care Home Location: High Wycombe Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, flexible shifts including weekends About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our residential care home, specialising in nursing care, dementia, and physical disabilities. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead care teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high standards of person-centred care. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing care delivery and staff performance Support with CQC compliance, audits, and care planning Mentor, supervise, and develop the care team Ensure safe administration of medication Act as a point of contact for families and external professionals Requirements Prior experience in a senior or deputy role within a care home Strong leadership and communication skills Understanding of safeguarding, care standards, and health & safety NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred Why Join Us?
