Senior Commissioning EngineerLocation: UK Wide (Stoke is HQ)Salary: £75,000+ DOE | Company Vehicle | Overtime AvailableType: Full-time, Permanent
Join a leading player in the power sector, delivering high-voltage projects across the UK. We're looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead from the front, managing a skilled team and driving the successful commissioning and handover of complex electrical systems.
What You'll Do:
* Lead, mentor and develop a team of Test & Commissioning Engineers
* Own the commissioning process from pre-checks to full handover
* Oversee FAT, SAT and customer witness testing
* Ensure QA, safety and documentation is rock solid
* Work closely with Project Managers to deliver on time, in spec, and within budget
What You'll Bring:
* HND or equivalent in Engineering
* 10+ years in the Power industry
* Strong knowledge of MVAC/LVAC systems up to 400kV
* Experience with Protection Panels, Transformers, and advanced schemes (Distance, Differential, etc.)
* Hands-on with ABB, Siemens, Schneider, and GE relay config and testing
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* UK driving licence
