What the Job Involves This role is crucial within the Grounds and Cleansing Section of Neighbourhood Services. You will work closely with managers and colleagues to deliver visible, commercial services to external and internal clients, including local housing associations, health trusts, and police departments. Key responsibilities include maintaining public open spaces, school grounds, and contracted sites. Duties encompass grass cutting, grave digging, horticultural work, landscaping, arboricultural work, sports facility maintenance, litter collection, and responding to fly-tipping requests. Maintenance of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines are also part of your job, as is contributing to a positive team culture and supporting continuous service delivery.
