Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a market-leading utility business as part of their decarbonisation and metering division.\n\nThe client we are working with can provide an excellent level of training and development to a self-motivated candidate with a desire to progress.\n\nThe successful Health and Safety Advisor will report in to the Health & Safety Manager and will be well supported by an experienced and established team. \n\nThis home-based position will see you travelling to sites in the North of England on an autonomous basis with an excellent level of flexibility to make work fit in with the rest of your life!\n\nThe key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor are to: \n \nDrive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business. \nProvide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites.
\nConduct Health and Safety audits and inspections. \nSupport the Health and Safety Manager. \nUndertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid similar incidents repeating.
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold: \n \nNEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent. \nValid Full UK Driving License \nExperience within Utilities, Consultancy, Social Housing and other related industries. More importantly, what’s in it for YOU!:\n \nA basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 \nCompany car (Hybrid and Electric options) or Car allowance \n25 days plus Bank holiday.
