We’re Pip & Nut (& You could be too). We make the best nut butters & snacks you can get your paws on. Beginning Pip started Pip & Nut in 2015. After whizzing up nut butters at home (using natural ingredients & nothing else) she was onto something tasty. Her friends agreed. Her family agreed, and soon the people of London’s Maltby Street Market agreed. The word - and the nut butter - started spreading. Fast. We leapt onto the shelves of Selfridges. Then Sainsbury’s. Then Wholefoods & Ocado. Then Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-Op, Tesc- you get it. Middle We’re in every UK supermarket, but we’re not done yet (that’s why we need you). We want to keep growing while showing people that tasty food can be good for you & the planet. We’re a B Corp after all. That’s not just a pretty badge. Better business is an all-day, everyday mindset. Next We’re nimble: we’re the number one & fastest growing nut butter brand in the UK. We’re tenacious: next up, we’re taking over snacking. We’re a B Corp & proud: we’re doing all of that while looking after people & the planet. 10% of our profits go to The Pip & Nut Foundation to support organisations tackling hunger & loneliness in communities. The squirrels are taking over. Are you in? What you’ll be doing We need squirrels on the ground. This year Pip & Nut is going big in London. We want to get more people trying the tasty food we make & that’s where you come in. You’ll be helping us grow our community of nut butter lovers by bringing the energy (& the snacks) to samplings across London. This is the perfect opportunity for people looking to kickstart a career in sales/ marketing/ events and ideal for anyone looking to get into the world of food & drink – especially students. We’ll need you to be agile & available as this is a casual contract which will need you to show up across London, including weekends! You’ll be representing Pip & Nut at several Run Through events we’re sponsoring (5k, 10k & Half Marathons), as well as showing up to in-store samplings at important spots like Whole Foods Market. If those first samplings go well, we’ll need you for even more exciting events later in the year – think iconic London Half Marathons. In a nutshell, you’ll be: Spreading the obsession. You’ll be the face of the brand, getting our food into the paws of Londoners & turning them into Pip & Nut fans with a bite of a bar. A race-day hero. You’ll champion Pip & Nut at our sponsored events, like RunThrough in Jan/Feb, and/or bigger half marathons later in the year. Working closely with the marketing team and other ambassadors, you'll bring the energy—whether it’s for a couple of hours or a full day. Stationed in the aisles. You’ll run solo sampling sessions at Whole Foods stores (these are generally 3 hours long) & join the team on bigger foyer takeovers. Once we’ve trained you up, you’ll be in charge of your own sampling kit & keeping track of stock. Our ear on the ground. You’ll make sure you report back to The Nest (our main office) with any important info including customer feedback, logistical problems or (hopefully most common) nice things people said to you. Bringing the Squirrel Energy. You’ll bring the squirrel energy & get involved with our team where possible – all part of making Pip & Nut a great place to work. Things we’re looking for (skills & credentials): A total food nut & future squirrel. You’re motivated, flexible, & have a genuine enthusiasm for the food industry—and Pip & Nut. You’ve done your research & get what we’re about. A natural chatter. You’re a "people person" who loves a good chinwag. We’re looking for someone with positive energy who is confident representing the brand, sampling food & chatting with anyone they meet. Organisation & openness. You’re a pro communicator who can keep us in the loop, regularly reporting back to the marketing team & ready to learn new ways of working. A mover & shaker. Ideally, you’re into running (or at least have a good grasp of the London running community) to help us connect with our sporty sampling crowds. Hold Up.
