At Samsung Cambridge Solution Centre (SCSC) we develop world-leading Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity for Samsung Semiconductor’s range of chips. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term maternity cover contract starting no later than 01 April 2026. Your role will focus on the smooth-running of monthly payroll, our reward schemes and company benefits. You will be part of a small, dynamic and collaborative team, working alongside your colleagues to provide professional HR generalist and payroll service to support the business in achieving its goals. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your skills and make a meaningful impact on our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing a proactive and flexible HR and payroll service.
* Delivering a high-level accurate payroll service for the UK office including: data compilation, liaising and instructing our Shared Service Centre, pension auto-enrolment responsibility and answering employee payroll queries.
* Responsibility for end of year tax reporting, such as P11d’s and PSA.
* Benefit coordination and administration including: maintaining the benefit system, reconciling benefit invoices, running regular benefit reports and reviewing benefit offerings.
* Managing the leave system: including calculating annual leave, running regular leave reports for sickness and other leave types and being the first point of contact for any leave queries.
* Assisting with family leave requests, including maternity, paternity, shared parental and parental leave.
* Managing our immigration policy and assisting employees with visa applications from start to finish ensuring the business remains compliant.
* Completing the self-assessment documentation and submission for dispatchers (expats) at SCSC.
* Participate in People Team projects as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
* Previous Payroll Experience.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communicator with exceptional relationship building and negotiation skills.
* Strong focus on teamwork & collaboration.
* Strong customer service mind-set.
* Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically, Microsoft Excel.
* A qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject.
Desired:
* Experience in UK immigration law.
