Offer description

Overview

At Taylor Wimpey Manufacturing (TWM), we’re experiencing exciting growth in our supply of kits and expanding our supply chain to support a diverse range of roofing, flooring, and full kit solutions. This role focuses on coordinating design information and ensuring in-house and external teams deliver high-quality results on time.

As a Technical/Design Coordinator, you’ll drive the success of timber frame projects by equipping the in-house design team with what they need to deliver exceptional results. You’ll coordinate design information flows between internal teams, BU clients, and external partners, and ensure designs are integrated into the overall project scope.

* Coordinating all design inputs to ensure clarity, alignment, and readiness for production.
* Managing external design consultants and ensuring outputs are reviewed, approved with BU, and distributed efficiently.

Where projects include in-house timber frame design, collaborate with internal designers to establish a design program and maintain a clear reporting structure back to the Client Business Unit Technical team. Additional responsibilities:

* Monitor and drive design progress and third-party design to ensure all targets and deadlines are met.
* Support the Technical Director with STA-related duties, including certification and plot registration processes.

This is a hands-on coordination role with a solid understanding of design and information flow across RIBA Stages 4–5, and experience in Design Management or Coordination. You’ll ensure every design element is accounted for, aligned, and delivered to a high standard.
