The College is looking to appoint a Lecturer B in Health and Social Care to teach across the Level 1 to Level 3 provision. You will be responsible for managing the learning process to ensure high quality provision leading to individual student success. Ideally, you will have: Hold a relevant professional qualification (minimum Level 3) Possess a PGCE / Cert. Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards Hold GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent Have experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector Have experience of leading of leading students to the successful completion of their course Have excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage and prioritise Day-to-day you will have responsibility: To support the Curriculum Leader by co-ordinating and supervising a small team in the delivery of high quality and inclusive provision within a curriculum area. To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses. To support the curriculum management on curriculum and course development. To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility. Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required. To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
