Plant Manager £very competitive Scunthorpe MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Manager for a Renewable Energy Power Station based near Scunthorpe. The main focus of this role will overseeing the safe operation, maintenance and management of the plant. Working closely with key stakeholders ensuring production is optimised in a safe environment, co-ordinating plans, budgets and reports and environmental responsibilities. As a Plant Manager you will be responsible for: Develop and deliver business plans for projects that align with company strategy. Monitor project progress, report on performance, and recommend corrective actions where needed. Oversee long-term asset performance, ensuring sustainable financial returns and operational resilience. Manage project operations, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Site Licence, and all relevant legislation. Drive operational efficiencies and identify synergies in processes, pricing, and service delivery. Lead and support a site management team, ensuring clear accountability and performance across functions. Inspire and develop a multi-functional, multi-site team, fostering engagement and continuous improvement. To be considered for this role you should have: Proven experience in power industry preferably renewable energy operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Strong Technical education, marine engineering/mechanical/electrical engineering. Commercially astute with experience in project budgeting, planning and reporting. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for sustainable energy.
