Practice Team Assistant

We are recruiting a Practice Team Assistant on behalf of a legal / professional services firm in London. This is a full-time, office-based role.
What you will do:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to PAs and fee earners
Manage document production: printing, scanning, filing, and bundling
Assist with billing, timesheets, expenses, and banking administration
Support new business intake, file opening, and compliance processes
Manage emails, calls, and internal communications
Coordinate meetings, events, travel, and diary arrangements
Maintain accurate client and matter records
Support WIP, billing, and debtor reporting
Provide ad hoc administrative support as required
We are looking for professionals with:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C), including Maths and English
School or college leaver, or early-career professional
Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment (desirable)
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Typing speed of 45 wpm with high accuracy
Excellent organisational, time management, and attention to detail
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
CILEX qualification (desirable, not essential)
