Overview

Use your clinical experience to work with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, to gain a clear understanding of how their challenges and the ways their disability affects them impacts their daily life.

Work within an office-style environment and at home to complete detailed, meaningful and respectful assessments over the telephone, video or face-to-face. Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

You must have at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience and UK experience is essential. Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and IT competency is essential.

Responsibilities

* Assess the cases of claimants applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
* Conduct assessments with individuals who have a broad range of health conditions, with some assessments conducted remotely.
* Interpret medical evidence and compile findings into comprehensive reports to support DWP decision-making.
* Engage in an in-depth training programme that is fully paid for and counts towards clinical hours.


Qualifications

* At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential.
* Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and IT competency is required.
* Willingness to work a mix of remote and assessment centre environments.
