Job Summary: If you are a dedicated, driven Psychology and Sociology Teacher with a passion for the subjects and a desire to inspire your students, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Psychology and Sociology with excellent subject knowledge. The successful candidate will join the school's highly successful and enthusiastic Social Sciences department, collaborating with a talented team of practitioners. There is also potential to lead the department for the right candidate.
Psychology is the most popular A Level course at Sixth Form and a popular GCSE option. The AQA Psychology A Level covers topics including Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, Psychological Approaches, Biopsychology, Gender, Aggression, Schizophrenia, and Research Methods. We also offer AQA GCSE Psychology.
Sociology is another popular subject at A Level in our Sixth Form, including topics such as Education, Family and Households, Media, Crime and Deviance, and Theory and Methods.

* An excellent classroom practitioner
* Well-organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong classroom management skills
* Knowledge of Psychology at KS4 and KS5
* Knowledge of Sociology at KS4 and KS5
