Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative to join our Tranent based manufacturing client. What's on offer? Full-time ongoing position Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Paid at 12.50 per hour As a Mechanical Assembly Operative, you will be working within the production team to assemble a variety of products, ensuring they meet the quality standards expected. Your day-to-day duties will include: Ensuring daily and weekly production targets are met Using hand tools and basic power tools to assemble products Following build guides, work orders, and standard procedures Ensuring products meet quality and H&S standards at each stage Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe Working closely with other teams To be successful, you'll have previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment. Combined with the following skills, traits and experiences: Happy to carry out repetitive tasks while paying close attention to detail Able to follow both written and verbal instructions A strong understanding of health and safety in a factory environment Good with your hands and enjoy practical, hands-on work Interested?
