Job Title: Senior Service Delivery Supervisor
Location: Thames Road, Dartford, DA1 5QJ
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

About The Role:
To lead and manage the operational delivery of key services across the London Borough of Bexley. The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of supervisors and ensuring that frontline services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with agreed service standards. They will use their skills and experience to develop the supervisory team to achieve operational excellence, with a core focus of the role being to drive down the key metrics and improve service performance.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
* Oversee the day-to-day delivery of services across the borough.
* Manage and support a team of supervisors, ensuring effective supervision of their respective teams.
* Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and Company policies.
Performance Management:
* Monitor and analyse service performance data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
* Lead initiatives to improve key service metrics.
* Implement proactive strategies and corrective actions in collaboration with supervisors and operational teams.
* Manage sickness/absence in line with the Company's expectations and thresholds, and coach the supervisory team on effective absence and case management techniques to address persistent absences.
Team Development:
* Mentor and coach supervisors to build leadership capability and improve team performance.
* Identify training needs and support ongoing professional development within the supervisory team.
* Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Liaise with the contract management team, council officers, contractors, residents, and other internal departments to resolve service delivery issues.
* Handle escalated service complaints and ensure timely, professional resolution.
* Represent the contract management team in meetings and contribute to service reviews and planning.
Reporting and Compliance:
* Prepare regular reports on operational performance, staffing and service improvements.
* Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and Company policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and waste legislation, industry standards, and Company policies.
* Review contract reporting and produce action plans to address underperforming team members.
* Ensure the service operates compliantly and safely at all times.
* Ensure the supervisory team perform regular checks with their teams and report back any issues identified with the view to managing information appropriately until resolution is achieved.
