What you'll be doing:
Visionary Leadership: Quickly distil complex customer needs into a clear, compelling vision that unifies the pre-sales team.
Content Architect: Author creative, persuasive pre-sales content and thought leadership, coordinating contributions from across the business to build cohesive solution and delivery models.
Client Champion: Lead solution aspects of client pitches and negotiations, confidently articulating value and influencing key stakeholders.
Solution Influence: Strategically challenge and influence the solutions we present, ensuring they are innovative and deliver maximum client value.
Governance & Best Practices: Champion and enhance pre-sales governance, efficiency, and quality.
Network Weaver: Build and leverage a senior-level network across the organization to seamlessly harness delivery capabilities.
Capability Builder: Develop our internal pre-sales capability, creating a virtual team of creative content-writers with strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
Customer Partnership: Cultivate close relationships with key customer stakeholders, supporting their technical strategies.
Knowledge Optimisation: Drive the creation of reusable content and assets, embedding continuous improvement into our knowledge base and pre-sales processes.
You'll also:
* Demonstrate extensive technical delivery experience on complex engagements, with a significant portion in the UK Public Sector.
* Exhibit proven pre-sales acumen, whether in a direct role or through meeting management responsibilities.
* Build and lead effective teams, recognizing strengths and fostering growth.
* Apply excellent knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, GDS Service Standard, Jira & Confluence).
* Showcase strong architectural understanding across applications, cloud, data, and integration.
* Bring operational or managed services experience (advantageous).
