Responsibilities
* Lead and facilitate the process of gathering business requirements through interviewing or conducting group requirements session and generate detailed business requirements/stories.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, breaking down complex business problems by understanding the business needs, creating understanding of how digital solutions may meet those needs.
* Analyze and document current workflows, identify opportunities to meet project objectives, and make recommendations for future approaches.
* Develop user definitions, use cases and workflow diagrams to illustrate business problems.
* Actively participate in formal presentations to a variety of management levels.
* Positivity and strength in working within a high performing team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are key to communicating effectively with technology partners and understanding their requirements.
* Open collaboration with team members on shared items.
* You have excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle and are familiar with Agile best practices.
* Ability to adapt to unfamiliar circumstances and deliver high quality work.
* The role will involve business requirements review, systems requirements and capability analysis, solution design, and working closely with business partners and the development team.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in a system analyst role
* Experience working with cross-functional teams developing business and systems requirements, user interface design, data modelling, systems designs and systems interface specifications
* Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
* Experience with or knowledge of web technology or service-oriented architecture is a plus.
