MI Analytics Executive – 36 Hours – Permanent

Location: Edinburgh (Blended Working)
Office Attendance: Hybrid – available to travel to Edinburgh office 2 days per week.
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm
Starting Salary: From £33,040 (depending on experience) plus competitive benefits

Opportunity
We deal in the personal – from pet insurance for your best friend to home insurance, motor insurance, and travel money. We're looking for an MI Analytics Executive to join our Insurance and Money Services team. This role supports decision making across the business through data collection, analysis, and interpretation, turning it into meaningful insight. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, supporting brand tracking, primary research, transactional NPS, complaints data, and more, using these to identify root causes of issues and drive actionable insight.
The Role
* Data Analysis: Conduct research using primary data sources, quantitative and qualitative methods, and secondary sources (e.g. Mintel) and select information needed for analysis of key themes and trends.
* Driving Improvements: Use research and internal sources to create recommendations to drive improvement across products, marketing, and customer experience.
* Insights and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of data and analytics reports (e.g. MI, Brand Tracking, Transactional NPS) and maintain key reporting repositories and databases.
* Stakeholder Management: Work with stakeholders to understand research requirements, build responses to briefs, and coordinate delivery of recommendations.
* Performance Management: Prioritize your workflow and ensure work is completed to required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness.
Qualifications
* Experience in an MI, analytics, insight, reporting, or data-focused role.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex or high-volume information.
* Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines and commitments.
* Proactive, action-oriented problem-solving approach.
* Continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to optimise processes and outputs.
* Stakeholder management and collaboration across different teams, including commercial and marketing functions.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and create clear recommendations from data.
* Confidence using standard office software and data management systems.
* Understanding of operating within risk, control, or compliance-based environments.
Desired Skills
* PowerBI skills.
* Prior experience conducting primary research.
