Video Content Producer – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Amotherby (just outside Malton)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are a growing e-commerce business looking for a creative, forward-thinking Video Content Producer to join our team in-house at our Amotherby premises.
Your main focus will be creating product videos — for use on YouTube, Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, and other sales channels. These videos will need to vary in style depending on their purpose:
* Feature-focused product videos (explaining specifications and functions).
* Benefit-led, emotional videos (showing how products solve problems or improve daily life).
* Short-form content for social media platforms.
Alongside this, you will help us with TikTok live streaming, including camera setups, dual-camera streaming, and software configuration (training can be provided if required).
This role will suit someone who is both creative and commercially aware — understanding not just how to make a video look good, but how to make it sell.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, film, and edit product videos for multiple platforms.
* Create short-form social content and promotional videos.
* Support TikTok livestreams with setup and technical assistance.
* Collaborate with other departments (marketing, sales, product) and take direction from company directors.
* Adapt videos for different platforms and audiences.
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Stay up to date with video trends, editing tools, and creative approaches.
* Be open-minded about AI and willing to explore how AI tools can support video production and content creation.
Skills & Experience
* Strong skills in video production and editing (portfolio or showreel required).
* Ability to create product-focused video content with both feature and benefit-driven messaging.
* Understanding of how video impacts e-commerce and sales performance.
* Experience with livestreaming setups (multi-camera, OBS or similar software) – desirable but not essential.
* Confident using editing software
* Creative mindset with good attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time well.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
* Awareness of AI tools in video/content creation (experience preferred, but openness to learn is essential).
Equipment
* Having your own equipment is a bonus, but not essential.
* High-quality video can also be captured on modern smartphones, and we can provide equipment where required.
What We Offer
* Full-time, permanent role in a growing, forward-thinking business.
* Salary negotiable depending on experience.
* Opportunity to shape our video strategy across multiple platforms.
* Creative freedom with support from directors and a collaborative team.
* Stable working hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm).

Please apply with:
* A CV and short introduction about yourself.
* A portfolio or examples of video work (links to YouTube, social media, or files).
