Our client is a leading business within the food manufacturing industry and is seeking an Account Manager to take full commercial ownership of one of their top Marks & Spencer accounts. This is an end-to-end role with responsibility for sales performance, margin delivery, and overall P&L.
Working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, you will drive category growth through effective planning, forecasting, innovation, and strong customer partnerships. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with a strong understanding of customer management, procurement, and data-led decision making.
What's involved for the Account Manager
1. Take full ownership of food categories, driving sales, margin, and overall P&L performance
2. Manage food procurement and planning to ensure optimal availability, quality, and cost efficiency
3. Partner with the sales team to develop and execute customer account plans, including strategies and negotiations
4. Monitor and achieve KPIs across sales and margin, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
