Job Description
* Oversee and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
* Monitor and reconcile stock discrepancies with the Accounting & Finance team.
* Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate stock deliveries and returns.
* Perform regular stock audits and generate inventory reports.
* Utilise stock management systems to maintain up-to-date records.
* Identify and address potential stock shortages or overstock issues.
* Support the finance team with stock valuation and month-end processes.
* Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Stock Controller (Finance) should have:
* Experience within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in using stock management systems and software.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good understanding of stock control processes and inventory principles.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially Accounting & Finance.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and organisational skills.
