The US data center construction market is booming — and we're looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to capitalise on one of the most lucrative desks in our business.
At Samuel Knight Energy, we're already deeply embedded in this market. We deliver talent to multiple national-scale general contractors across the United States, and we hold an exclusive recruitment partnership with one of the largest data center developers in the country. That means a consistent, high-volume pipeline of roles — and significant fees — that your competitors simply don't have access to.
If you're motivated by earnings, this desk will reward you. We operate an expanding salary structure with high commission, and the volume and value of placements available on this desk make it a genuine standout opportunity.
How we work
We operate US-aligned hours, so you're live when your clients and candidates are:
* Monday – Thursday: 12:00–21:00, office based
* Friday: 12:00–18:30, work from home
* Public holidays are US-aligned, meaning you receive the same total annual leave as your UK-aligned colleagues
What you'll be doing
* Sourcing and placing specialist candidates across data center construction disciplines
* Managing relationships with senior hiring contacts at our GC and developer clients
* Running end-to-end recruitment processes from briefing through to offer and onboarding
* Growing your billings through proactive business development and networking
* Advising clients on market trends, salary benchmarking, and talent availability
What we're looking for
* Recruitment experience, ideally within construction, engineering, energy, or a technical sector
* A results-driven mindset with strong commercial instincts
* Confident communication skills — you'll be engaging senior stakeholders across US time zones daily
* The ability to manage multiple roles and candidates simultaneously
* Ambition — this desk suits someone who wants to build something and earn well doing it
