The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a new Defence project, ensuring effective coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll be managing complex workstreams, engaging with stakeholders across Defence and industry, and providing clear project reporting and updates.
Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of a new project from induction through delivery
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with relevant Defence processes and standards
* Supporting project initiation and proposal activities
* Providing accurate reporting to senior leadership
Essential experience
* Knowledge of Defence and Defence project delivery
* Understanding of Trials and Experimentation processes
* Capability and Acquisition experience within DE&S or Army HQ
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Experience working across multiple teams
* Ability to hit the ground running on complex projects
Essential qualifications
* Relevant experience more important than formal qualifications
* Experience in project management in Defence or related sectors
* Demonstrable ability to manage complex workstreams and reporting
* APMP PMQ or Prince 2 equivalent

This role is full-time per week based at Farnborough or Bristol. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected. Hybrid working patterns are available.
