In a recent workshop with our customers, they emphasised that it is important for social workers to see their work as "not just a job"; they want people who genuinely care, understand, and want to help and build positive working relationships.
The qualities they expect from our social workers include being respectful, trustworthy, showing empathy, being good listeners who don\'t interrupt, spending the time needed, doing as they say they will, thinking outside the box, being adaptable, punctual, having knowledge of what it means to be a carer, being knowledgeable and able to share this knowledge with those they work with, and overall showing kindness.
Interviews will take place over Teams, and our next panel will be Wednesday 10th September.
