TEXO Recruitment is looking for a Mud Cooling Technician to join our external clients fantastic team based in Dyce, Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct equipment surveys and reports for offshore and land-based projects.
* Mobilise, install, and demobilise mud cooling equipment.
* Train rig personnel on equipment operation.
* Interpret rig layouts and P&ID diagrams.
* Maintain and service mud cooling equipment.
* Prepare equipment for mobilisation and ensure documentation is updated.
* Support project management and liaise with suppliers and clients.
* Maintain asset records and certification files.
* Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and report hazards.
* Participate in training, safety meetings, and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering qualification (NC, HNC, HND, or apprenticeship).
* Offshore survival and medical certification.
* Knowledge of fluids and mud cooling systems.
* Effective communication, report writing, and proficiency in MS Office.
