About this Role
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term-time plus 5 INSET days)
Salary: £19,502.00 - £19,812.00 Annually (Actual), NJC 6 - 7 (£25,813 - £26,224 FTE)
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 August 2026

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate individuals to support the teaching staff in our Inclusion Room by working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
A typical day for the Learning Support Assistant will involve:
1. Assisting with planning and preparing activities
2. Supporting classroom organisation
3. Maintaining equipment
4. Promoting health, hygiene, and positive behaviour
5. Monitoring and reporting on children’s well-being and development
6. Liaising with parents and external agencies
7. Accompanying pupils on outings
8. Administering minor first aid (following training)
9. Participating in record-keeping
10. Contributing to display preparation
