IT TECHNICIAN – (INITALLY 3-MONTH CONTRACT) Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Broxburn People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Technician to join our client on a fixed-term basis to support critical business priorities and provide coverage for the existing post-holder. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to business transformation while documenting and improving systems and procedures within a well-established organisation. Your benefits as an IT Technician include: Competitive Salary Immediate Start Available Project Ownership and Autonomy Experience with a reputable business IT environment Day to Day Duties: As an IT Systems Support specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Supporting ongoing IT and business system projects to meet priority deadlines Documenting current procedures and processes for continuity and efficiency Providing cover for the current IT role holder as needed Liaising with internal teams and external IT providers to ensure continuity and service quality Reporting and monitoring SLA and KPI performance for ICT service delivery Maintaining an IT asset map and register Assisting with IT policy updates and ensuring legal and security compliance Contributing to a strong health and safety culture across all IT practices Essential Skills: Strong experience in IT systems support or similar roles Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines Confident liaising with stakeholders and service providers Strong understanding of business IT infrastructure and service delivery Desirable Experience: Previous experience in project-based IT work or contract roles Familiarity with service agreements, system audits, and compliance documentation Knowledge of health and safety policies within IT environments What training is provided? All successful candidates will receive a full onboarding session and access to existing system documentation.
