A great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing designers and manufacturers of Innovative Smart Building Controls, Heating Controls and Thermostats. Field/home based covering the West Midlands; area also includes Wales to the North West. West Midlands/Birmingham is the ideal location for the candidate. You will be selling to M&E Contractors and back selling via Merchants, Distributors and Wholesalers.
The Role
Your role is to sell the company's Designed and Manufactured range of Innovative Smart Building Controls, Heating Controls and Thermostats. Field/home based covering the West Midlands; the area also includes Wales and the North West, with key emphasis on the West Midlands and Birmingham as a great location for the candidate.
Responsibilities include:
* Selling into M&E Contractors (approximately 70% of time) and back selling via Merchants/Distributors/Wholesalers (approximately 30%).
* Attending 3–5 meetings a day, varying by day.
* Operating in a large area with excellent support and back up on the territory.
* Account Management focused 60–70% of time and New Business focused 30–40% of time.
* Autonomous and self-sufficient in approach.

The Person
* Must have sold a plumbing/mechanical product.
* Experience of selling into M&E Contractors and/or Merchants/Distributors/Wholesalers.
* Must have field sales experience.
* Self-sufficient.
* A great Account Manager with the ability to be New Business focused.
The Package
* £42–£45k basic salary depending on experience.
* OTE £60k+ paid monthly with annual accelerators in place.
