Technical Engineer -Kidderminster - Permanent role - Competitive + Excellent BenefitsShorterm Group have teamed up with a French-Anglo defence company who are looking to appoint a Technical Design Engineer to join their future Factory team.The Role:As a Technical Engineer, you'll support the successful delivery of key construction and M&E elements within their site Modernisation Programme. Reporting to the Site Modernisation Manager, you will ensure that project objectives are met through sound engineering methods and proactive stakeholder coordination.Key Responsibilities:Support the day-to-day coordination of construction and M&E projectsMonitor project timelines, identifying and mitigating potential delaysManage and maintain key project documents related to schedule and costDevelop HSE documentation in line with templates and legal standardsLiaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and support functionsAttend cross-functional meetings relating to safety, cost, and engineering progressQualifications & Experience:Essential:BTEC in Mechanical EngineeringConstruction or Electrical qualificationStrong knowledge of construction methodology and M&E installationsAbility to interpret construction, mechanical, and electrical schematicsDesirable:2+ years as a project engineer or coordinator (ideally in construction or FM)AutoCAD experienceApprenticeship in a relevant disciplinePerson Profile:A confident team player with excellent communication skillsAble to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentComfortable leading or contributing to meetings and briefingsWillingness to travel across the UK with occasional overnight staysProficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS ProjectWhat they Offer:Competitive salaryUp to 8% employer pension contributionsSuccess sharing bonus schemeAd hoc hybrid workingCompany sick payHealthshield - Health cashback planPerkbox - Shopping & lifestyle discountsPaid professional membershipsCorporate clothingFor more information and to register your interest please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
