We're excited to be recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a prestigious site in Taunton! As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues on mechanical systems, supporting electrical operations, ensuring full statutory compliance, and delivering high-quality building maintenance services. This is a static position, working Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and Reactive Maintenance
* Service and maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps (bearings, seals), and heat exchangers
* Conduct water treatment tasks (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
* Work on chilled water systems, heat interface units, and cooling towers
* Monitor tap temperatures, pressurisation units, and generators
* Operate and monitor BMS systems
* Perform general plumbing duties
* Liaise with and manage subcontractors, including issuing RAMS and escorting as required
* Support motors and other mechanical assets as needed
