Despatch Operative – Temp to Perm
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
Flexibility required for occasional later finishes to complete dispatch and loading.
We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Despatch Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and processing goods for despatch
* Loading wagons, including some outside the premises
* Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
* Supporting the smooth operation of the despatch department
* Performing general warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
* Valid counterbalance forklift licence
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous experience in a despatch or warehouse role is desirable
* Strong computer and communication skills
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work flexibly
