The Role We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join Teaching Personnel on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs. You will work closely with class teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs) Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents Support with personal care where required Encourage independence and promote positive learning behaviours The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children with SEND (school or similar setting) Be patient, resilient, and nurturing Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills Be adaptable and willing to work across different sites if required Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant – desirable but not essential) Have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures To Apply: please send across your CV, outlining key and relevant experiences and skills.
